Invitation of the National College of Chief Architects to award the Chief Architect's Lifetime Achievement Award and the Chief Architect of the Year Award
The city of Nagykanizsa and the National College of Architects established the Chief Architect of the Year Award in 2000, recognizing the main architectural activity and the work of municipal and state (regional) chief architects. The Award was presented for the first time at the 5th National Conference of Chief Architects, and every year thereafter.
The Prize will be awarded on the basis of a written proposal. Proposals can be made by any chief architect, municipal and office manager, or by any professional and municipal organization or association. An official public architect cannot be nominated for the Award, as well as a person who, according to the Memorandum of Association, participates in the opinion on the awarding of the Award.
The Chief Architect of the Year Award is given to a chief architect with at least 10 years of experience as a chief architect, while the Chief Architect’s Lifetime Achievement Award is conditional on a minimum of 20 years of experience as a chief architect. The award may be received by the Chief Architect, Church and Institutional Chief Architect across the border, in exceptional cases, as an additional award.
Deadline for submission of proposals: 27 August 2020.
